Job Summary
The Analyst, AI Center of Excellence (CoE) supports the execution and ongoing evolution of Optimum’s AI Center of Excellence. This role contributes to the responsible, secure, and effective use of Artificial Intelligence across the enterprise by assisting with governance processes, intake and evaluation of AI use cases, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.
The vision for the Optimum AI CoE is to responsibly harness Artificial Intelligence to drive efficiency, improve employee experience, enhance decision-making, and strengthen operational resilience—enabling employees to focus on Innovation, Customers, and Growth.
The AI CoE is embedded within the CISO organization and serves all of Optimum and its subsidiaries. This role operates as an individual contributor and works closely with AI CoE leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the AI CoE operating model, governance processes, and standards.
- Assist with intake, documentation, and tracking of AI use cases and initiatives across the enterprise.
- Coordinate logistics, materials, and follow‑ups for recurring AI CoE meetings and working sessions.
- Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and document AI use cases.
- Assist in evaluating AI initiatives through lenses of risk, compliance, security, and responsible AI principles.
- Support the development and maintenance of AI governance artifacts, playbooks, standards, and guidance.
- Collect, analyze, and report metrics related to AI adoption, usage, and value realization.
- Assist with vendor and tool evaluations by compiling comparisons, summaries, and recommendations.
- Conduct research on AI trends, tools, and regulatory considerations and share insights with AI CoE leadership.
- Support change management and enablement efforts, including communications, training materials, and awareness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records, dashboards, and documentation to support transparency and auditability.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Work closely with AI CoE leadership to execute priorities and deliverables.
- Serve as a point of coordination between business stakeholders and technical or risk partners.
- Provide clear, well-organized analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Participate in a collaborative, inclusive team environment focused on continuous improvement and learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in technology, data, analytics, cybersecurity, risk, or related roles.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, digital transformation initiatives, or technology governance programs.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments and supporting enterprise initiatives.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, AI tools, or data-driven technologies.
- Awareness of risk management, compliance, security, or ethical considerations related to technology and AI.
