Job Summary
Serve as a field support liaison between Optimum and authorized Branded Partner (BP) organizations operating within the Tri-State region. This role supports the operational alignment, sales readiness, and program execution of the D2D Branded Partner channel by working directly with BP field management. The Supervisor coordinates communication, training facilitation, reporting visibility, and program updates with BP leadership — without directing, supervising, or managing BP personnel, who remain employees of their respective partner organizations. Assist the Manager of Direct Sales in developing the operational plan for the Branded Partner channel, review and analyze channel performance trends, and maintain a consistent engagement cadence with BP field management. Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary field support contact for assigned authorized Branded Partner organizations within the Tri-State footprint.
- Conduct regular market visits to support operational alignment, program communication, and field readiness — engaging with BP management rather than directing BP representatives.
- Coordinate with BP leadership on market launches, deployment planning, and operational updates.
- Communicate Optimum business updates, incentive programs, operational changes, and market priorities to BP leadership for cascading through their own teams.
- Facilitate access coordination for approved Optimum systems, devices, credentials, and required tools.
- Help ensure BP teams have the necessary Optimum-provided resources to operate within program guidelines.
- Monitor overall market activity and Branded Partner production trends across assigned areas.
- Partner with internal OMS leadership on territory planning, lead deployment coordination, and market coverage discussions.
- Review reporting trends related to sales activity, installs, customer retention, and operational performance, and share insights with BP leadership for action within their own organizations.
- Escalate operational concerns impacting customer experience, program integrity, or business continuity to the Manager of Direct Sales.
- Support adherence to approved sales processes, lead management expectations, and operational procedures across the channel.
- Support the achievement of channel goals as measured by Sales, Yield, Bundled Winback sell-in, cancellation and completion rates, and retention.
- Attend and participate in company-sponsored training to enhance skills needed to perform duties.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interface across all levels of management — internal and external.
- Core competencies include teamwork, integrity, flexibility, stress tolerance, and concern for excellence.
- A collaborative, influence-oriented leader with experience building trust and alignment with external partner organizations.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to foster consensus across internal stakeholders and external partner principals.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, partner relationships, and initiatives simultaneously.
- An organizationally perceptive person who will respect the traditions and culture of Optimum and the independence of partner organizations, and who can support program objectives within that context.
- A minimum of 2+ years of proven success in sales, field operations, or vendor/channel support is preferred.
- Prior experience in direct cable, telecommunications, fiber, or mobility sales a plus.
- Experience supporting third-party sales organizations or authorized dealer/partner programs preferred.
- PC literate with strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and sales support systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for partner leadership.
- Thorough understanding of the key aspects of Direct Sales, including the Consultative Sales process and how it operates within a partner channel model.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; comfortable traveling throughout the Tri-State region.
