Job Summary
Optimum delivers Internet, TV, Phone, and Mobile services that keep residential and business customers connected at home, at work, and on the go. Optimum Mobile launched as Altice Mobile in 2019 and provides nationwide mobile service.
The Product Manager supports wireless acquisition experiences across Optimum Mobile’s digital and assisted channels. This role translates business priorities into clear requirements, prioritized backlog items, launch plans, and measurable outcomes for wireless plans and offers, devices and BYOD, SIM/eSIM activation, eligibility services, financing and trade-in experiences, onboarding journeys, and network partner and vendor collaboration. The Product Manager works closely with Product leadership, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Care, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Analytics, and vendor partners to improve customer conversion, operational readiness, and the end-to-end mobile acquisition experience.
Responsibilities
- Own assigned wireless acquisition initiatives across digital, retail, care, telesales, and partner channels, supporting mobile plans, promotions, device offers, BYOD experiences, SIM/eSIM activation, financing, trade-in, onboarding, and customer-facing acquisition capabilities.
- Identify customer, operational, and business opportunities using acquisition funnel performance, subscriber behavior, care drivers, employee feedback, market trends, and carrier competitive analysis.
- Lead requirements discovery with cross-functional subject matter experts and translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and launch documentation for wireless acquisition, activation, provisioning, billing, OSS/BSS, eligibility, and onboarding capabilities.
- Support Agile product ownership responsibilities by representing Product in ceremonies, clarifying requirements, helping resolve blockers, and ensuring delivered functionality aligns with customer, operational, and business goals.
- Partner with go-to-market, Care, Sales, Retail, Training, Operations, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, network partner, and vendor teams to ensure launch readiness across wireless systems, channels, offers, devices, activation, provisioning, billing, and care operations.
- Define reporting needs, track wireless KPIs, and use pre- and post-launch analytics to assess activation, conversion, subscriber behavior, Care drivers, operational performance, customer experience, and business outcomes.
- Communicate product requirements, business logic, launch scope, customer impacts, and technical capabilities clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, align stakeholders, proactively surface and help solve issues, and drive assigned initiatives to completion.
- Use AI-enabled tools to streamline documentation, requirements, and communication; summarize customer and operational inputs; identify basic patterns and opportunities; and support product recommendations.
- Manage vendor relationships as needed in support of assigned wireless acquisition initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, product development, consulting, financial modeling, or related roles for mobile, telecom, digital, or software-based products; wireless carrier product delivery experience preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile product delivery, backlog management, requirements documentation, workflow mapping, and cross-functional release coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain business logic, product direction, technical capabilities, and complex topics clearly.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to use customer behavior, acquisition funnel performance, operational data, KPIs, market activity, and post-launch results to inform decisions.
- Working knowledge of wireless carrier product delivery, including rate plans, offers, device lifecycle management, SIM/eSIM activation, BYOD, activation and provisioning flows, billing impacts, OSS/BSS inputs, eligibility services, fraud concepts, onboarding journeys, APIs, and customer-facing digital experiences.
- Familiarity with telecom and wireless industry concepts, carrier operations, device and network partner dependencies, and the end-to-end customer acquisition lifecycle.
- Ability to translate business needs into technology requirements and technology solutions into business-ready explanations.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, influence priorities, manage trade-offs, and support decision-making while maintaining strong working relationships.
- Ability to understand AI/GenAI concepts, limitations, and terminology and use AI-enabled tools to streamline documentation, requirements, and communication; summarize customer feedback, operational metrics, and product usage trends; identify basic patterns and opportunities; and support business case inputs.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail, customer and stakeholder empathy, and the ability to quickly understand complex subject matter.
- Strong product judgment, problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to adapt to ambiguity while staying aligned to product strategy.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $123,379.00 - $202,694.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire and does not reflect future job opportunity.
