Job Summary

As an Optimum Sales Readiness Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of sales readiness initiatives across the Optimum Consumer and Business Sales organization, including Contact Centers, Field Sales, Retail Sales, Digital Sales, SMB (Small-to-Medium Business), Enterprise, and the Optimum Market Structure. This role also supports readiness initiatives for B2B Care and Retention, helping frontline teams deliver exceptional customer experiences.

In this highly collaborative role, you will coordinate and execute readiness activities that prepare sales teams for new product launches, service enhancements, process changes, and strategic initiatives. Working closely with Sales Readiness Managers and cross-functional business partners, you will help develop training materials, communications, launch support plans, and operational documentation that enable successful execution across the organization. You will become a trusted partner to business stakeholders by ensuring readiness deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and the seller experience.This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the execution of sales readiness initiatives supporting product launches, offer changes, system enhancements, process updates, and strategic business priorities.
  • Support project planning activities by tracking milestones, documenting action items, identifying risks, and ensuring readiness deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Develop and maintain readiness documentation, including launch guides, job aids, communications, FAQs, presentations, and operational playbooks.
  • Partner with Training, Communications, Product, Sales Operations, Marketing, Compensation, Reporting, and Technology teams to gather information and ensure readiness materials accurately reflect business requirements.
  • Assist in developing and delivering presentations for frontline sales teams, leadership meetings, roadshows, and virtual learning sessions.
  • Monitor launch readiness activities and provide post-launch support by identifying issues, documenting lessons learned, and recommending process improvements.
  • Build strong subject matter expertise in Optimum products, services, offers, sales processes, and operational procedures to support frontline success.
  • Maintain readiness trackers, dashboards, project documentation, and status updates to ensure stakeholders remain informed and aligned.
  • Analyze business information and frontline feedback to identify trends, knowledge gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support the creation of sales communications that simplify complex business information into clear, actionable guidance for frontline employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training, communications, reporting, compensation impacts, and operational readiness activities remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with readiness governance activities by maintaining documentation standards, tracking project outcomes, and supporting reporting needs.
  • Use Excel and other business tools to organize data, maintain offer matrices, and create simplified reference  materials for frontline teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline readiness processes, improve communication effectiveness, and enhance the overall seller experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Training, Project Coordination, Communications, or a related business function, preferably within telecommunications or technology.
  • Working knowledge of sales processes and customer engagement principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and build effective working relationships.
  • Experience developing presentations, documentation, communications, or training materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, learning management systems, knowledge management platforms, or similar business applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
