Job Summary

The Sr. Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Corporate Security Department through budget administration, vendor coordination, reporting, and security systems support.  This role serves as the primary resource for processing department expenses, managing vendor invoices, maintaining operational documentation, and providing first-level support for security technologies, including access control, alarm monitoring, video management, and incident management systems.  The position plays a key role in supporting employee safety and the protection of company assets. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the departmental budget in partnership with Security leadership. 
  • Prepare requisition in Oracle for department expenses. Track invoicing for accurate bookkeeping and auditing.   
  • Conduct audits of security vendors to ensure proper billing and completion of projects and service calls. 
  • Liaison with vendor managements when issues arise for quick resolution.  
  • Analyze data and produce weekly reports on trends in security-related activity and incidents.  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; Liaise with IT and/or vendor(s) as needed to ensure that complex issues are properly resolved. 
  • Conduct training on security systems for Security staff and other parties as needed.  
  • Provide operational support to the Security Operations Center during planned absences, staffing shortages, or emergency situations, including occasional after-hours coverage. 
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned 
  • Ability to manage and work in a fast paced “Team” environment 

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required; bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Business Administration, Security Management, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a security role, or equivalent law enforcement/military experience required
  • NYS Security Guard license required
  • Experience managing and retaining strategic relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Extensive computer skills in Oracle, Microsoft Excel, Word and other MS office products 
  • Basic knowledge of computer networks
  • Knowledge of access control, alarm monitoring, and incident management systems required; specific experience with CCURE access control, Victor CCTV, ID printers, and/or D3 incident management preferred
  • Valid New York State driver’s license
