Job Summary

We are in search of an experienced and motivated Procurement Analyst reporting to work cross-functionally with the Business Units and Executive team in supporting the procurement function by analyzing purchasing data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring the efficient and effective sourcing of goods and services. The candidate will have experience working in an environment of constant change at a high pace and demanding timelines. This position will collaborate very closely with key stakeholders at all levels and their designated sponsors for their spend priorities.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, communicate effectively, able to execute on multiple projects and able to identify solutions to complex problems. He or she must have a positive attitude to set the tone with cross functional teams, facilitate solutions at an Enterprise-wide level and able to navigate through competing objectives to drive to outcomes while partnering with Executive leaders to facilitate trade-offs that optimize outcomes in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze procurement data to track purchasing trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Prepare reports on supplier performance, spend analysis, and procurement activities.
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting by providing insights into future purchasing needs and trends.
  • Support the procurement team in identifying potential suppliers and conducting supplier evaluations.
  • Assist in maintaining and managing supplier relationships, monitoring Purchase Orders and payments to key suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address issues as they arise, working to resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the procurement process and propose solutions to streamline operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize purchasing practices, reducing costs and increasing process effectiveness.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of purchase orders and contracts, as well as ensuring the required approvals are obtained.
  • Ensure that procurement activities align with company policies, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Maintain an accurate record of orders, contracts, and agreements, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, product innovations, and new suppliers.
  • Provide recommendations to improve purchasing strategies and explore potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensure procurement needs are met and compliant.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and address any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role (1-3 years preferred).
  • Strong experience with procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, etc.).
  • Familiarity with contract management, supplier evaluation, and negotiation processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Negotiation skills and an understanding of supplier relationship management.
  • High level of integrity and ethics when dealing with sensitive procurement data.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills.
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and mindful of deadlines.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance numerous diverse priorities and projects simultaneously.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $52,547.00 - $86,327.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
