- Partner closely with iOS, Android, product, design, QA, and backend engineering teams to define technical solutions, manage dependencies, and deliver capabilities across agile development cycles.
- Guide technical design and implementation decisions, serving as a subject-matter expert in BFF architecture, API development, service integration, and cloud-native engineering.
- Champion engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, contract testing, observability, DevSecOps, and production readiness.
- Drive continuous improvements in API performance, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence, including effective incident response and post-incident improvements.
- Translate business and product requirements into clear technical solutions, providing realistic estimates, delivery commitments, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
- Collaborate across engineering and business organizations to communicate technology strategy, influence architectural decisions, and ensure alignment on priorities and outcomes.
- Support modernization initiatives that simplify legacy integrations and enable consistent, scalable API capabilities for mobile applications.
- Hire, coach, and develop engineering talent while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
