Job Summary

The Finance Analyst will focus on high impact projects and initiatives within the Planning & Control function – including assisting in the preparation and development of subscriber activity budgets, forecasts, short and long-term business plans, variance and trend analysis.  This role is also responsible for overseeing and coordinating the consolidations and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly statistical and subscriber reports and analysis.  The ideal candidate will have foundational finance/business planning knowledge, the ability and willingness to engage in complex analysis, and aspirations to further develop a career in Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Direct responsibility for preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for assigned business areas 
  • Work closely with business leaders to develop budget/forecast that reflects operational and financial goals of the company and act as a resource to help achieve these goals 
  • Assist in the consolidation and reporting of the budgets and forecasts for the department 
  • Consolidation and reporting for subscriber activities. 
  • Assist in the monthly review and analysis of subscriber activities. 
  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of variance analysis 
  • Conduct subscriber and statistical analysis, reporting and tracking for all assigned business areas, supported by commentary and analysis 
  • Develop, report, and maintain routine and ad-hoc statistical analysis  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and develop models for ad-hoc analysis 
  • Previous experience in preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts strongly preferred 
  • Experience with Copilot and general AI prompting a plus 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to interact with employees and leaders at all levels 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to analyze problems, probe facts and question assumptions 
  • Strong Excel skills including advanced formulas, pivot tables, graphs and charts 
  • High degree of integrity 
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems using fact-based decision-making
