Job Summary
The head of Executive Recruiting will design and manage a best-in-class search function supporting roles at the Senior Director-level and above. This key recruitment function will be responsible for delivering the highest quality internal and external candidate pipelines across the enterprise in alignment with the organization’s future growth, talent and development strategy. This key leadership role will manage a small team dedicated to high-touch exceptional candidate and employee experience, ensuring end-to-end compliant processes balance exceptional candidate and hiring leader experience.
Responsibilities
- Create a best-in-class executive recruiting function by establishing consistent, white-glove processes for stakeholders, partners, internal and external candidates
- Create and drive proactive pipeline strategies focused on transferable, agile skillsets and expertise that may be leveraged across the enterprise
- Enable the highest quality of hire by leveraging the Optimum leadership principles while standardizing an approach to search initiation, calibration, debriefs, and onboarding transition, etc.
- Collaborate closely with the HR Business Partner team across all lines of business to ensure a deep understanding of talent needs to include skills and experience gaps, succession plan opportunities, and growth strategies
- Proactively build and maintain strong client relationships, staying abreast of current and future workforce needs and organizational strategies
- Continuously monitor and innovate end-to-end processes, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations while simultaneously delivering outstanding candidate and hiring leader experiences
- Develop a third-party retained search strategy, managing vendor relationships whenever recruitment augmentation is necessary
- Directly manage full lifecycle searches as needed
- Build relationships with key firms, industry partners, and interest groups in alignment with the broader HR Talent Acquisition strategy
- Partner closely with the compensation team to create subject matter expertise across the exec search team on executive-level compensation, with a thorough understanding of Altice’s compensation philosophy
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators, leveraging data to inform strategies, provide analysis on topics such as market supply and demand, process effectiveness and efficiency, industry trends, and pipeline diversity
- Provide thought-leadership in best practices and talent market conditions, keeping Optimum ahead of the competitive landscape
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or similar field required
- 15+ years background in talent acquisition with expertise in executive search
- Experience navigating complex, high level recruitment searches/activities
- Deep passion and focus on candidate experience required

- Comfortable with public speaking and executive presentations
- Ability to regularly be present in Long Island City, NY (Hybrid 3X a week) with travel up to 10% of the year to visit teams across the footprint

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $161,186.00 - $230,265.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
