Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Sales Enablement, this role is responsible for driving measurable improvements in sales performance through the design, delivery, and continuous optimization of enablement programs. The Sales Enablement Specialist operates at the intersection of training, facilitation, and business performance, translating strategic priorities into impactful learning experiences that influence frontline behavior and results.

This role supports Sales teams across Contact Center, Retail, Field, and Sales Operations by delivering high-impact training, reinforcing selling behaviors, and leveraging data and technology to continuously improve effectiveness and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Sales Enablement Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with Sales Enablement leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify performance gaps and translate them into targeted enablement solutions
  • Support execution of enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., Optimum Way to Sell) to drive consistency and effectiveness across channels
  • Align enablement initiatives to key business KPIs such as close rate, product yield, and customer experience (tNPS)

Facilitation & Delivery

  • Deliver dynamic, high-impact instructor-led and virtual training sessions for frontline sales teams and leaders
  • Facilitate workshops, role plays, and skill-based sessions that drive behavior change and improve sales execution
  • Adapt facilitation approach to meet the needs of diverse audiences (Retail, Field, Contact Center)
  • Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and reinforcement to strengthen skill adoption and performance

Instructional Design & Content Development

  • Design and develop blended learning solutions, including ILT, virtual training, eLearning, and performance support tools
  • Create facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and reinforcement strategies
  • Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content reflects current products, tools, and sales processes
  • Ensure consistency with brand standards while tailoring content for multiple audiences and delivery formats

AI-Enabled Productivity & Innovation

  • Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Synthesia) to enhance the speed, quality, and scalability of enablement deliverables
  • Utilize AI to support content creation, facilitation preparation, video development, and performance support materials
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve consistency through AI-driven solutions
  • Apply critical thinking and quality control to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business objectives when using AI-generated outputs
  • Stay current on emerging AI capabilities and recommend innovative applications to improve Sales Enablement effectiveness

Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Develop measurement strategies to evaluate enablement effectiveness against defined KPIs
  • Analyze sales performance data, training feedback, and behavioral insights to identify trends and opportunities
  • Use data to inform program improvements and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Contribute to reporting on enablement impact and ROI

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build strong relationships with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to ensure alignment and adoption
  • Act as a trusted partner by bringing forward insights, recommendations, and innovative enablement approaches
  • Stay current on industry trends and continuously evolve enablement strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sales training, enablement, facilitation, or instructional design in a sales-driven environment

Core Capabilities

  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead engaging, high-energy sessions both in-person and virtually
  • Proven ability to drive behavior change through coaching, practice, and reinforcement
  • Analytical mindset with experience connecting training initiatives to business performance outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into actionable insights

Enablement & Design Expertise

  • Experience designing blended learning programs using adult learning principles (e.g., ADDIE)
  • Proficiency with eLearning tools (Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and virtual platforms (Teams, WebEx)
  • Experience with LMS/LXP platforms and learning analytics preferred

Technology & AI Fluency

  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Synthesia) to improve productivity, content quality, and workflow efficiency
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply sound judgment to ensure accuracy and business alignment
  • Curiosity and adaptability in adopting emerging technologies to enhance enablement strategies

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York is $64,260.00- $91,800.00 /year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter. The rates/ranges provided herein are the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and do not reflect future job opportunity.
