Job Summary
The IT Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for the efficient management, tracking, reclamation, assignment, and auditing of all IT assets within Optimum. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal utilization of IT resources, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Asset Management
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets including hardware, software, licenses, and peripherals.
- Monitor asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement asset management processes to optimize asset utilization and minimize costs.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of asset inventory records.
Asset Reclamation and Assignment
- Coordinate the reclamation and redeployment of IT assets across various departments and locations.
- Facilitate the assignment of IT assets to employees, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to allocation policies.
- Collaborate with IT procurement and vendors to manage asset acquisition and disposal processes.
Reporting and Analysis
- Generate reports and metrics related to IT asset inventory, utilization, and compliance for management review.
- Analyze data trends and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with IT teams, department heads, and end-users to understand asset requirements and address issues.
- Serve as a point of contact for asset-related inquiries, providing timely and effective support and guidance.
- Communicate asset management policies, procedures, and best practices to stakeholders across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum two years of experience in IT asset management, procurement, or related field.
- Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, and licensing concepts.
- Proficiency in asset management tools and software (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, SNOW).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT asset management is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as IT Asset Management (ITAM) or Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) is a plus.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00 - $105,570.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire and does not reflect future job opportunity.
